This guide will show how to configure PebbleHost's Advanced DDOS Mitigation on your service.

How to enable the mitigation using your own domain

Go to the DDoS Protection page in your server's sidebar.

Make sure the page shows that Advanced DDOS Mitigation has been added to your plan, or upgrade to Advanced Mitigation using the button on the page.

Choose the "I'll use my own domain" option and enter your domain. Please note you must have already purchased this domain from a site like Namecheap or GoDaddy.

The system will provide you with the DNS Record that needs to be made on your DNS Manager:

You will need to go to your domain's DNS Management and create a DNS record with the values given on the DDOS Protection page.

Head back to the page and click the green Verify button. This should, if all goes well, verify your domain and change the DDOS Protection status to "Configured".
If you see a notice that you will need to install the RealIP Plugin, please click "Install Plugin" to allow player IPs to show correctly in console:


How to enable the mitigation using a PebbleHost subdomain

Go to the DDoS Protection page in your server's sidebar.

Make sure the page shows that Advanced DDOS Mitigation has been added to your plan, or upgrade to Advanced Mitigation using the button on the page.

Choose the "Use a PebbleHost Subdomain" option and enter your domain. This must be only characters a-z or a -, and cannot be shorter than 4 characters.
Click Save and you should see the DDOS Protection status change to "Configured".
If you see a notice that you will need to install the RealIP Plugin, please click "Install Plugin" to allow player IPs to show correctly in console:
